Ingredients (Makes 8–10 donuts)

Donut Batter

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup vanilla whey protein powder
  • ¼ cup allulose or preferred sugar-free sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

Optional Glaze

  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1–2 tbsp allulose (powdered)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, Greek yogurt, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. For the glaze, mix cream cheese, heavy cream, powdered sweetener, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over cooled donuts.
