Ingredients (Serves 6)
- 1½ lbs thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye) or ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup heavy cream or beef broth
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) if finishing in the oven, or keep on stovetop.
- Heat oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion, peppers, and mushrooms for 5–7 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
- Return beef to the skillet. Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add cream cheese and heavy cream. Stir until creamy and well combined.
- Top with shredded cheese. Cover and cook on low until cheese melts, or transfer to oven for 8–10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
