Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1½ lbs ground beef (80/20 or lean)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- ½ cup diced green bell peppers
- ¼ cup diced onion (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into thick patties. Make a small indent in the center of each.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
